Summertime In The City
As a realtor, I love my role as “Ambassador of Denver” and all things cool. Staying up on the best places to eat and shop is a labor of love. My newest obsession is LoDo’s Milk Market: an all local, 16 venue mix of take-away and dine-in restaurants and bars located in the historic Dairy Block. Denver’s celebrity chef Frank Bonanno is behind the magical and well curated venue-I promise it will NOT disappoint!
Located at Wazee and 18th Streets, the new market hall is the first of its kind in LoDo. You can accomplish so much in a quick trip…grab brunch with a savory crepe from FEM Crépes, scoop up an iced coffee from Morning Jones to have in hand while you peruse the 11 other restaurant stalls. Having guests over later? Grab all the fixins for a perfect charcuterie board at S&G Salumeria and sample the perfect wine to pair at Cellar.
P.S. Be sure to check out my new listing at the Glass House which is within walking distance to these fab amenities….. 1700 Bassett St, Unit 1013!
Milk Market opens from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at 1800 Wazee Street. Lou’s Hot Naked and Morning Jones opens at 7 a.m. weekdays. Moo Bar, Stranded Pilgrim, and Mano Pastaria stay open until 11 p.m. For more information and a complete list of restaurants, bars & food stalls, check the website.
In addition to fab food, one must not miss the “Free Market” located next to all the dining. The “Free Market,” located at 1801 Blake St, is described as “ an ever-evolving collective that develops and markets curated products, services, and experiences by combining incubator strategy with artistic understanding and infrastructure strength.” Great shopping can be had by stopping by the following boutiques: Ayr, Beauty Counter, Aesop, Alchemy Works and Jenni Kayne to name a few.
