Thanks to HGTV, everyone has become a design/reno/construction expert. Ok, that’s a little snide of me, but really, it’s kind of true. Improvements like paint, stain, interior features, etc. are all well within the hands of a homeowner. It becomes a problem when homeowners get in above their well-meaning heads and try to take on […]
LoHi is my favorite neighborhood because it literally has everything, or almost everything. We have amazing restaurants, a cool mixture of different types of housing, eclectic shops, but no super-cool hotels. Until I read this article from the Denver Post, I didn’t actually realize that there were no hotels. Now that I know this it […]
Our team is excited to announce that we’re co-listing the Perry Row at Sloan’s townhome project with Deviree Vallejo from Kentwood City Properties! In the new St. Anthony’s redevelopment at Sloan’s Lake, these will be the only for-sale listings.
One thing I love about Denver is that we are constantly becoming cooler! The newest building to become so much cooler could be the new PBS building. Right now it’s located at 11th and Bannock in the Golden Triangle. The building is pretty non-descript and gray, and blends in with the sidewalk.

The Modern Christmas Tree has become a staple in my house for the past few years. This tree, in my opinion, is the epitome of modern, class, and sparkle (of course). I love everything about it. The best thing about it is that our friend, Matt Bliss, owns this company. Here, he shares the story […]
For a while now, beetle kill forests and trees have been a hot topic in Colorado; the mountain pine beetle has killed a large number of our lodgepole pines. Those red, dead trees you see as you drive up I-70 are beetle killed pines. The lodgepole pines make up about 8% of our 22 million […]
It’s one of my favorite times of the year – the Denver Film Festival! From November 4 – 15, the Denver Film Festival will take over the city with about 250 films, from more than 40 countries.
The Source is one of the renovated warehouses in RiNo, housing restaurants, a coffee shop, a brewery, a grocer, a bank, etc…as well as a bunch of start-up companies. Most notably, the Source includes Acorn, which has been on “top restaurant” lists for the past year. It’s one of Denver’s hottest newer restaurants, and personally, […]
