When we started looking for our very first home, we heard about Liz from a friend, and gave her a call. Before looking at a single house, we all sat down and spent some time getting to know each other. She listened, gave ideas, answered questions and overall helped us define our priorities from what our hearts were looking for in a first home. When we were ready to start looking, Liz took all of our information and narrowed down some options. Prior to picking us up, Liz went out of her way to personally go visit each of the houses to make sure they still fit within our scope! (Property listings can be quite deceiving.) Every house we looked at fit within our budget, desired location, and priorities. We fell in love with the first home she showed us! But to make sure we weren’t jumping the gun, we looked at about 20 or 30 other houses over the span of 3 or 4 weeks. During this time we learned just about everything possible to look for – and look out for! – in a new home. Well, each place just reconfirmed our earliest conviction and we closed on that first home just a few weeks ago! We laugh when we hear that buying a home can be one of the top stressful events in a person’s life. When you have a realtor who listens to you andworks with you to find your ideal home, like Liz, the stress disappears andyou will ultimately find what your heart is looking for. PS. Just to give you a little perspective: We did go looking at some houses with another realtor prior to calling Liz. This is how the interaction went. We talked to them over the phone and told them what we were looking for. Their assistant sought out comparable homes and made a list. They picked us up and drove us to each home. When we asked questions, they usually didn’t have an answer, because they didn’t even pick the homes!
