Belcaro Park is a small enclave of ranch style and two-story homes on larger lots. Known as a quiet in-town neighborhood, Belcaro is stately while unpretentious. Exposition Avenue, Colorado Boulevard, Tennessee Avenue and Steele Street border the Belcaro neighborhood, just south of Cherry Creek.
Five acres within this region is home to the grand historic Phipps House at 3400 Belcaro Drive. A spacious 33,123-square-foot, 54-room red brick Georgian mansion. Charles A. Platt and sons designed the red brick Georgian mansion, and Phipps called it “Belcaro” (Italian for “beautiful dear one”).
